Louise Phillips was born in South Carolina. Her military family moved every three years until her dad retired in 1996 in Amarillo, TX. She attended college at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas where she got her Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in psychology and history (2002) and her Master of Arts degree in history (2004). She began working as a legal assistant and paralegal in February 2005. While working in Texas, she was also an adjunct history professor at various colleges (North Central Texas College, Wayland Baptist, and Vernon College). She moved to New Mexico in 2010 and worked for a large firm until joining SC Law in March 2023. She has worked in the legal field for over 18 years. She enjoys spending time with her precious fur babies, Clover and Bastille and she is an amateur photographer in her free time.
