Kateri has experience with large and small clients, in both government and private sectors. Kateri has successfully defended clients in suits in state and federal court and has obtained favorable outcomes for her clients. She was recognized as a Rising Star by SuperLawyers in 2024. Isabel Blea was born in New Mexico and served in the United States Air Force from 1998-2002 as a Signals Intelligence Analyst. Ms. Blea joined SC Law in March 2023, where she works as a legal assistant, paralegal, and office manager.  Isabel E. She received a paralegal certificate from the Albuquerque Career Institution in 1986. She has worked for numerous law firms in Santa Fe and brings over 40 years as a legal assistant and paralegal to the firm. Sandra joined Saiz, Chanez, Sherrell + Kaemper earlier this year after working for a large Albuquerque law firm and provides ongoing assistance to the lawyers at the firm. In her spare time, Sandra enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, enjoying the outdoors, and riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Christine Christy LEGAL ASSISTANT, PARALEGAL (505) 340-3437 experience PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Although Christine Christy had been in the legal field as both a legal assistant and paralegal for 10 years prior, Ms. Christy earned a Certificate in Paralegal Studies through the Santa Fe Community College in 1991. She worked for a variety of law firms in Santa Fe, New Mexico until 2000. Ms. Christy’s career took her to Washington, DC where she was employed as the Paralegal Coordinator at former Ross, Dixon & Bell until mid-2003. After a year at a law firm in New Jersey to create their paralegal program, she returned to New Mexico. Christine worked for the PNM Legal Department in 2005-2007 with a focus on rate case litigation. In 2008, Christine joined a large law firm in Albuquerque, New Mexico, primarily focusing on defense litigation, with an emphasis on medical malpractice and nursing home litigation. Ms. Christy retired in March 2022; however, it was a short-lived retirement. She began work at a small appeals law firm in August 2022, and joined Saiz, Chanez, Sherrell + Kaemper in August 2023, where she supports both firms as a paralegal.
