Kateri has experience with large and small clients, in both government and private sectors. Kateri has successfully defended clients in suits in state and federal court and has obtained favorable outcomes for her clients. She was recognized as a Rising Star by SuperLawyers in 2024. Kateri is passionate about serving her local community and improving the lives of all New Mexicans. While attending the University of New Mexico School of Law, Kateri was a W.K. Kellogg Child and Family Justice Advocate and a 2019 Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Fellow. Kateri was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. When she is not at work, Kateri enjoys skiing, hiking and mountain biking in the beautiful mountains of her native New Mexico with her family. Upon graduation, Ms. Lopez was among the top students of her graduating class and received a LexisNexis Award for Top Academic Achievement, the UNM School of Law’s Faculty Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Law School, and the West Academic Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in the Third Year. She also graduated with the distinction of summa cum laude and is a member of the Order of the Coif honor society. In addition to her legal expertise, Ms. Lopez brings over twelve years of work experience with the State of New Mexico. Isabel Blea was born in New Mexico and served in the United States Air Force from 1998-2002 as a Signals Intelligence Analyst. Ms. Blea joined SC Law in March 2023, where she works as a legal assistant, paralegal, and office manager.  Isabel E. Blea (505) 340-3427 OFFICE MANAGER experience PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Isabel Blea was born in New Mexico and served in the United States Air Force from 1998-2002 as a Signals Intelligence Analyst. After the military, in 2003, she started working in the legal field as a runner, receptionist, title analyst, and legal assistant. Ms. Blea worked at some small law firms for a few years, then joined a large law firm in 2008. She remained there working as a legal assistant until she joined SC Law in March 2023, where she works as a legal assistant, paralegal, and office manager. She and her husband have two children and in their spare time, enjoy fishing, camping, and spending time with family.

Ms. Christy earned a Certificate in Paralegal Studies in 1991. She worked for a variety of law firms in Santa Fe, until 2000. She now works at both a small appeals law firm, and joined Saiz, Chanez, Sherrell + Kaemper in August 2023, where she supports both firms as a paralegal. She received a paralegal certificate from the Albuquerque Career Institution in 1986. She has worked for numerous law firms in Santa Fe and brings over 40 years as a legal assistant and paralegal to the firm. Sandra joined Saiz, Chanez, Sherrell + Kaemper earlier this year after working for a large Albuquerque law firm and provides ongoing assistance to the lawyers at the firm. In her spare time, Sandra enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, enjoying the outdoors, and riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Louise Phillips was born in South Carolina. Her military family moved every three years until her dad retired in 1996 in Amarillo, TX. She has worked in the legal field for over 18 years and is a legal assistant and paralegal at SC Law. Her military family moved every three years until her dad retired in 1996 in Amarillo, TX. She attended college at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas where she got her Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in psychology and history (2002) and her Master of Arts degree in history (2004). She began working as a legal assistant and paralegal in February 2005. While working in Texas, she was also an adjunct history professor at various colleges (North Central Texas College, Wayland Baptist, and Vernon College). She moved to New Mexico in 2010 and worked for a large firm until joining SC Law in March 2023. She has worked in the legal field for over 18 years.
